Polish Your Transcripts with Reinhard Proofreading

At Reinhard Proofreading, I work for busy, exceptional court reporters who need each transcript (whether it is a trial, hearing, arbitration, deposition, EUO, or other) meticulously proofread and returned on time every time.

I follow the guidelines and standards of the National Court Reporters Association and based on Morson's English Guide for Court Reporters.
Other resources I use to proofread transcripts  include the following:
  • The Gregg Reference Manual
  • Margie Wakeman's Court Reporting: Bad Grammar/Good Punctuation
  • Merriam-Webster's dictionary, including Medical Terms and Abbreviations
  • Oxford Dictionary

Each transcript is analyzed and proofread for the following errors and guidelines:
  • Spelling and transposed words
  • Issues with capitalization, grammar (commas, hyphenation, etc.), and homophones, homonyms, and homographs
  • Contextual errors concerning content, names, dates, and misused words
  • Transcript-specific formatting issues and state-based guidelines as they apply
  • Proper use and spelling of legal, medical, technical, and industry-specific terms
  • Consistency with attorney names, address, contact information, dates, exhibits, and time stamps
  • Court reporter preferences
When working with me at Reinhard Proofreading, reporters have the option to fill out a preference sheet and will received annotated pages via email on PDF, and a completed and accurate transcript on time EVERY time.
Note: Reporters may also request to fill out a Google Form for their preference sheet.
